Piney-Esquire on the bench...

Waiting for the thin-line drop tops I glued on to dry, decided to make one of the 45 year old pine 1-9/16" thick bodies into an Esquire.

I should run out of the reclaimed pine at 8 bodies I figure.

This body is right at 3 lbs. Hope it won't be neck heavy. ;)

Home made Stainless Vintage Style Bridge plate and control cover made out of parts of a Bud Keg. 6.2k Baseplated Fralin waiting by... 6 position rotary fwith different caps to be determined for different tones [ala vari-tone] and a Volume.

The Strat neck is just visiting. I have a soft V Tele maple one piece [with skunk stripe] with Deluxe Klusons still on my 99 Alder Standard that will be relocated to Piney. ;)

Just going to spray it nitro with tint in the mustard family I think.

hmm... you got me thinking...

I bought a wood burning pencil with 4 tips on eBay after you said that.
Maybe a long horn Steer and a Barbed wire edge burned in and cleared.

Ignore the Custom Tele body on the left. ;) Guess what color the black guard Custom is going to be? With P-90s ;)

Yea, I am going to go yellower on the Custom, but he Esquire will be that custard/mustard, slightly transparent.

Yea, Strat neck just laying there. The 22nd fret just don't do it on an Esquire to my eye. Not to mention the square heal. ;)
