P90 Dogear Tele

You know I have this dead epiphone les paul jr project staring at me with this new GFS P90 in it I've never used and it whispers to me when I walk by.

Just the other day I was intrigued to find some posts about the GE Smith teles and their unique bridges. Then this gaseous brainstorm hit me that I should try to do a dogear P90 tele. I think all I would need to do to a cheap donor tele is rout out more of the bridge cavity, but maintain the angle...

Anybody done this or heard of this or should I lay off of the pizza before bed?

I thought I saw a few floating around here.

You can use hardtail Strat bridges too, but chopping the 3 saddle vintage makes for a cooler Tele in my opinion :)

Take a metal saw and grinder to the ashtray bridge and a router to an unrouted Tele body.
