Seymour Duncan website has a number of audio clips to a/b different pickups. I just bought their Seth Lover sh-55. Can't speak for DiMarzio, but you may want to check out available audio clips there.

If you're looking specifically at full size humbucking Dimarzio pickups, you would be hard pressed ( at least in my humble opinion! ) to find a better option than the PAF Classic. Excellent classic tones and as a bonus, the split and parallel tones are great. The Bluesbucker is another good one for P-90ish tones. The Humbucker from Hell has more of a single coil voice, but any of these would be a good choice.

If you want hum cancelling from a traditional looking single coil sized pup, the new Area or older VV neck pups are great. Good luck on your search!
