Stenciling a neck

I have an old guitar neck, and I want to mod it and put my own logo on it, just for fun. How do I go about doing this?

Water-slide decal. Make (or put) the design on your computer, print it on the decal "paper," apply it, and seal it.

Search under "decal" and you will find lots of info... I made mine using a kit that is sold by Testors and is available in hobby shops that sell stuff for RC cars and airplanes.

That's going to depend on whether it's under a clear coat or not and how it was applied. If it's over the top coat, you may have a shot with some kind of solvent - but you could run the risk of eating your clear coat. You might also have luck with real fine sandpaper and/or 0000 steel wool. If it's under the clear coat, you'll have to remove the finish along with the logo - sanding or chemical stripping. What kind of neck are we talking about?

I've no idea, honestly. It seems like a MIM Telecaster neck. I'm trying to concert the headstock to look like This. I don't mind the color so much, black would be fine if it's easier, but I'm having a hard time finding the exact logo.

I've decided to go the route of water-slide. Is it relatively easy?

There are two types of water slide decal paper. One for inkjet printers and one for laser printers. Don't run inkjet paper through a laser printer. If you're printing on an inkjet printer you'll need to spray something on the decal before applying it. Something like Krylon Acrylic Clear or clear lacquer. Otherwise the ink will smear when you apply it. Not a problem when going the laser printer route.

When spraying lacquer over in inkjet decal you should do several light mist coats rather than wet coats until you get some lacquer build-up.

I can't tell from the picture you posted (the one you said you wanted yours to look like) - are you wanting to put a Fender logo on it, or do you want to do a truly custom logo design?

Both. I want the logo I posted on the front of the head stock, and then a custom one on the back.
