Cutting up Beer keg for Tele control. ;)

I have a Tele with a temp control made out of a piece of black pickguard. 3 holes, 3 way LP switch, vol, rotary. ;)

I did buy a Guitar Fetish blank, but decided to do this for the stainless.

Rough sanded with 220, I kind of like the satin stainless look.

I inherited a KEG, so a Sawsall and 20 minutes later:

Optical illusion, it is straight. ;)

I hope it was an old keg that the brewery didn't want anymore. Those things are EXPENSIVE to replace, much more than the deposit covers.

I know this because when I was a brewer, we had to buy kegs for our brewery!

Cheers, Tim

I got it as junk cleaning up my sons rental. I figured The stainless steel to buy....

I actually encouraged them to bring it back when we where loading the u-haul I rented to move him up to WATERloo a few months back.

My wife and I went back the day after we returned from IA to clean the place.

They left the place in terrible condition. It took us all day and my 7x16 trailer loaded 5' high to clean it out, the stuff and garbage they left behind.

I usually give him cash to help when he moves, I told them not only would I not, but they had to pay for the gas and the trailer rental.
No excuse for it IMO.
