I don't think it's possible without changing to split shaft pots. Even then, be careful, because there are two kinds, and it's easy to get knobs that don't fit on the split shaft pots you get.
Easiest thing to do is switch to split shaft, then use the brass sleeve adapters available at guitarelectronics.com if you decide to go back to solid shaft. I have some on one of my bender teles, they do look pretty spiffy.

They would have to have a recessed set screw to work w/ the Tele's smooth shaft pots...never seen any like that, but that doesn't mean they don't exist ??

You could always
drill and tap the speedies and use a 6/32 set screw. I think they look cool on a tele in an inaccurate sort of way..........
