indo squier neck compatibility?
Hi All,
Does anybody know if the neck pocket on the Indonesian Squiers (particularly the Custom) is compatible with Fender licenced necks (Warmoth, USACG, Allparts, et al)? The body is what does it for me, I have to change everything else. Thanks. |

Sure, no problem at all 98 percent of the time. I left off 2 percent because stuff happens, just fitting a MIM neck to a MIM guitar.
Here's a Indonesia Squier 51 ( $69 ) with a $ 193 Warmoth 1 + 11/16ths Fatback Rosewood board Birdseye. ![]() Conversely, sometimes a Squier neck will be a mite wide fitting a USACG body; just trim it a 64ths.

i stuck the neck from my MIM Nashville on my CustomII for a while....no problems at all......recently put the neck back on the Nashville where it belonged and put a Squier rosewood board neck on the CustomII...again, no problems...have no plans to ever use the neck that came on the Indo guitar....never did like the feel of it, never will
