Replacement Tele Neck - Who to Buy From?
I just received a Tele project guitar that was really messed up. I need to replace the neck ( it is beyond repair ). The Tele body is a MIM 4 bolt neck pocket. My budget for the neck is about $200.00 delivered. Any suggestions?

A good neck for that price, I would recommend an Allparts. If you buy from the online store you could get a Warmoth in 2 to 3 weeks.

castpolymer,
Do you need the neck to be absolutely complete and ready to bolt on and use for that price? In other words to include good level frets, and a good nut and tuners already installed, and the neck already finished? Any fretboard preference, rosewood or maple? Did you want one with a factory applied logo, if so is a Squier logo okay, or does it have to be Fender? Or do you prefer the headstock face to be blank? Or does any of that matter to you? |

Your timing is just right.
As Micpoc says, a USACG neck (sweet) usually runs over $ 200 ($ 228?), but right now, Tommy has got I think 3 really nice Tele necks on webspecial for $ 149 or $ 159. http://www.usacustomguitars.com/usac...rge/neck9f.jpg These are very fine necks. I have many many Warmoth necks, but I give the edge to USACG. They are great.

I would prefer the frets & nut to be installed. I do not need any tuners or string trees ( already have too many ). I would prefer the fretboard to be rosewood ( unless it is a genuine Fender ). Getting the neck finished would be preferable as I have only repaired bodies thus far.
