Any Love Out There for Pirastro Strings?
I once had a single set from Just Strings (.com) and put them on the wrong Tele when I was changing strings, so I never really got to demo them sufficiently. Yes, they're expensive (so is gas, . . . and GAS), but I was initially struck (positively) with their vibe. I've been using Pyramid round wounds for some time now, and they're not cheap, but we're running out of tubes anyway - life's too short.
Any opinions on the Pirastro's (Sonic Wires)? |

Their upright bass strings are excellent, never tried guitar strings from them!
Cheers, Tim

I use their Flexocore strings on on of my upright basses. They are great quality. I'm sure I used to get Pirastro guitar strings a few years back and I remember them being pretty damn good too. No experience with the pirazzis though.
