72' Neck/Bridge Humbucker -Any Diff?

I am in the process of building a Tele with single coil bridge and humbucker in neck. I would like to use the 72' Reissue Humbucker. Is there any difference between the neck and bridge p/u ( I am planning on buying a used one )? I want to use the 72' humbucker as this is will be a Christmas gft for my father in-law and he is fanatic about all Fender parts. Thanks ahead of time for any input.

Looking at the parts list for the 72 Thinline, we see different part numbers for the two pickups. I can't tell you what the difference would be. I'll bet either would work just fine.

the 72 reissue pickups are a bit bigger than regular, gibson-sized humbuckers

I think the difference is in the wiring not the actual pickups (but I could be wrong)...I think the electronics bring out the bassier sound of the neck and the treblier sound of the rhythm, but they are essentially the same pickup.

the difference is that one pickup uses an alnico 4 bar magnet and the other alnico 2. the alnico 4 used in the bridge is much more trebly than the alnico 2 in the neck, which is much smoother and darker. otherwise they're about the same.
