Nashville Tele recommendation?

I’m building a Nashville tele. I plan to use Dimarzio’s DP418,Dp 417 and a vintage blues strat pickup (the Dp402)

Any recommendation on what pots and capacitors to use?

I'd use CTS and a an orange drop (like the acme or guitarpartsresource kits) or get a kit from RS guitarworks wiht a P-n-o cap and supoer pots.

I would think a call or e-mail to Dimarzio would get the best results, since they are the folks who made them ?...but that's just me......

If you're using a neck hummer, I think I would check the Hot Rod '52 wiring diagram on the Fender website. I've thought about putting a hummer in my Nashville, too, and wondered the same thing. Since mine has the Power Piezo Bridge, I'm not sure what pain changing the pot values would have on it, so, I never tried it. I've asked around and never got any definitive answers.

Dead on Old Cane!

Just in case anyone is going to do the same: I emailed Dimarzio and they said. 250K and a .022mFd. cap. They thought I might do better with a brighter-sounding pickup in the middle such as an Area ’58 or Area ’67.

However, I play a lot of blues and jazz so a fatter sound is more to my taste.
