Wiring for the switch on a Blue Flower/Paisley Tele?
Is there a diagram available online I can look at?

You probably won't find a wiring diagram for the Paisley or Blue Flower Telecasters. However it's just typical Telecaster wiring with that different sort of switch. Three wires to the switch. White wire from neck pickup to terminals 1 & 2 of switch. Yellow wire from bridge pickup to terminals 7 & 8 of switch. Switch output wire on terminals 4 & 5 goes to high side of volume pot............ typical Telecaster wiring.

If you want to wire it like a real 68/69 paisley or blue flower, you will need 1 meg pots, a .05 tone cap and a .001 cap accross the middle and outlide lug of the volume pot. As you can see in Jwells' photo, it looks like the re-issues use 250k pots, but keep the .001 "treble bleed" cap. My two cents, 250k pots work better than 1 megs and forget the .001 treble bleed cap.

Hmmm ............ I didn't notice that little .001 cap hiding there until you mentioned it. Guess I was mostly concerned about showing how the switch was wired.

Wow! I didn't think anyone answered my question till I looked this up.
Thanks! I put U.S. parts on mine- the entire thing (switch, pots & wiring). I might put the stuff back on and sell it if I get a different Tele since the price has gone up on these.
