as on most fender guitars you cant hear the 5th fret harmonic very well on the neck pickup. on my g&l asat z-3 this problem is solved because half the pickup is back further. i was going to buy a set of joe bardens for my fender tele and was wondering if the jb neck pickup solves the problem it doesn't appear to do it measurement wise but id like to hear from all you guys that have them. if not now that g&l is selling z-3 pickups i will just buy one for the neck.

Nah, same thing. It's worth it though, they're amazing pups.
