Tele Thinline pickGUARD on standard body?
I have an unfinished poplar tele body without holes, but routed for normal single coils, with a normal control cavity.
Is it possible to rout it for a tele thinline pickguard?

Seems like the original control cavity rout would show. I'm looking at my '69 Thinline RI and I don't think the pickguard would cover the rout you already have. I don't have a standard routed tele around to reference to on hand...I've been wrong before.

You'll be about 3/4" short.I'll post a pic when i get home.Although mine is a warmoth it's close enough i'm sure.If your up to it you could make your own and just leave a little on the end.I know a '72 custom reissue one will work, i modded one of my teles with one.
