Hot Rails need ???K pot

If I install a Duncan Hot Rail pickup in my tele will I need to change the volume pot to a 500K?

If I do change it to a 500K, then it will be out of whack for the neck pickup, correct? What are some options?

It's going to be out of whack, output wise anyway. We put a Hotrails in the Custom I built for a friend, it matches up very well with the Widerange hummer in the neck slot, so you're going to drop a lot of volume if you change to just the neck p/u.
