standard and "Wah" Tone control on one tele?
How can I word this?
I like the wah tones from Danny Gatton, but I'd want to still have some control over the tone control (not so dang quick). Can a tele be wired to give both of these pots in one guitar? Maybe a toggle between 2 actual pots (one 250K and one 1Meg)?

My favorite current "Wah" set up is by using a 250k Tone pot with a .1 cap.
You could wire in a 250k Push/Pull so that when the pot is pushed "in" its the wah tone using a .1 cap, and "out" is the standard tone control using a .22 or whatever cap you use currently. http://fralinpickups.com/images/teleschem.jpg |
