Relic template, help wanted.

I just started to build a telecaster. I've finished the body and don't have the bridge and controleplate yet.

Does anyone have a template with the messurements of the bridge and controleplate. I want to cut a 1 piece template to put on top of the finished body to distress the finish.

Allreadyy found a drawing of the pickgaurd in a 1:1 scale, still searching for the controleplate and brigde.

Thanx.

Don't really understand why you need these templates. The control plate is ~ 6 3/8 in. by 1 1/4 in. Here are vintage bridge drawings. You could crop one of them then print it to actual size.

I'm guessing g.g. doesn't have the hardware yet and if he wants to try and recreate the the lighter discolouration on the body before his hardware arrives then he needs the dimensions of the hardware.

Just a guess.

That's the idea. Those picks will help, thanks.
