New to me Krylon color

It can't be too new because it is in the old can/nozzle.

#1514 Totally Tangerine

I can't imagine that a few months from now I won't have a Totally Tangerine double-bound with a matching headstock.

I'm just hopeless.

Kinda looks like the color of those butterscotch candies, what are they Werthers or something, More so than tangerine. I'd like to see what it looks like on a slab of wood though. Would look good with a blackguard.

No, that would be Margaret Thatcher's hair rinse, that's a good bit darker.

hey Buck...slightly off the topic but still on paint. I have a 67 Yamaha SG-3 (think mustang) that came back from my nephew after a long lend with very badly scratched paint. my problem, PEARL white. any ideas on how to get my hands on pearl white paint??? I'd like to restore it to as close to origonal color as i can get - and you seem to be a guy with a lot of experience. thanks!

How about Dupli-Color? It is a line of automotive touch-up paint. Any of those chain auto parts stores should be able to help you out.

Didn't you hear?

He's working at the Taco Bell on the corner of Elm and Main.

He's the one with L - O - V - E tattooed on the knuckles of left hand.

Forum rules prevent me from telling you what he has on the right.

Aerosol Pearl-

http://www.plastikote.com/plastikote...mrins%20Pearls

(sorry for the mile long link. I don't know the code to shorten it up to a description)

I think PlastiKote is available a AutoZone, and other stores. The pearl is HOK paint. I haven't tried the aerosols. The carrier just may be transluscent enough to let the pearl show however. A more suitable way would be to put pearl flake (dust) in a clear and spray it over the white base, then top with more clear.

Krylon has a pearl- I think it's called "Pearl-it." It's pretty convincing but you can't top-coat with lacquer.

Bucko- I love the tangerine. I've got one going now and it will be this, or pumpkin, or black!

I used to know but it appears I've forgotten. How about someone giving us some instructions here?

type in your message in the white box. highlight the text that you'd like to be your link... in this case I'll choose tickle me. highlight 'tickle me' and click on the blue world with the link. Paste in or type the link and click okay. bingo!

Here's what I do: I click the blue globe. Paste the link address in the box........ click OK........... Part of what appears in the typing area is highlighted in blue ......... I start typing and the blue highlighted words are replaced with my words.
