saddle height for bigbsy installation

hi friends,
i have been fiddling with one of my teles to get it right, before the bigsby comes. i put one strip of credidcard and one layer of cloth-tape under the neck to chim it up. this is the highest i can get the saddles up while having the right stringaction. do you think that is enough to have a good angle for the strings? i really do not want them to pop off the saddles, because i play quite hard. you are reading a millimeter ruler. how high are your saddle from the body on your bigsby-teles?
thanks,
eddie

Eddie ............ since you have a top-loader there I will assume you have ordered a complete B-5 kit. The following was measured on a CIJ factory installed B-5 F Bigsby

Top of big E saddle to bridge: 8 mm
Bridge above Bigsby plate: 2 mm
Bigsby plate above body: 2.5 mm

Total saddle height above body: 12.5 mm

......

thanks for the precise info jwells!
it may look like a toploader, but it is a drilled and filed bridge of a squier custom 2. i will bolt a duesenberg tremola to the guitar.

Eddie, here are som old pics I took a while ago:

- I think you'll easily be OK with your saddles/screw, the string-break angle is much more flat on mine, and I do play hard, too!

Oh, and I know where your Duesenberg is coming from....

he roman, this is good news all the way. your angle looks surprisingly flat.
maybe it works so well, because of the corners of your special saddles. i have one grapphtech for the low strings, and two regulars with deep notches for the treble strings. right now i have set the intonation right, because i guess with the duesenberg mounted it will be too late. tactics, you know...
