HW1 "white" fingerboard
I am finding this "white" fingerboard a bit strange! I can only compare it to my 95 strat which has ambered/yellowed a lot and is way slicker feeling.
Any comments on these white boards and how they might be expected to age or over time or is there a way to expedite that look and feel ??

The poly on a Highway One Tele or Strat is of a different composition than on the MIM Standards; I don't think it will darken as fast, but it will darken enough over time. I think you'll be pleased.
I'm looking at a Nov 14, 2006 build date Highway One Strat neck I took off a while back. It is noticeably darker everywhere but under the tuner bodies and in the area protected from light by the neck pocket. Yet now that the whole neck is getting some indoor light, it is all getting darker. Very handsome. Except the neck is too thin and the monster frets are a pain. Beautiful rosewood with a lot of color contrast, less stain that I'd expect I guess.
