String spacing on 52RI with 3 saddle bridge

I was observing the neck of my guitar, and noticed the strings are not evenly spaced...like the space between the B and the G, and the D and the A is wider than that between the other two strings. Got me wondering, is that how they're supposed to look like? I can't recall from other 52RIs...because I've recently tried to space the strings for best playability.

It is a compromise, Trimac. I want my strings spaced approximately the same, but I also don't want the string riding against one of the saddle height screws.
And I know a certain string has a tendency to want to migrate at this same spot on the saddle, even when the saddles are swapped around. And I don't want the E strings too close to the edge above the 14th fret, but added space is more paramount on the high E than the low E side given the low E is seldom bent up that way.
You can fiddle and adjust on this for hours. If I have one behaving badly, I'm liable to install the Callaham enhanced vintage compensated saddles in place of the stockers. In addition to great tone and compensation, the strings have more room to be positioned, given the slender height screws, the lesser slant, and the greater distance between each height screw on the enhanced saddle. But I also found that installing 11-49s increases string tension, allows minute amounts of lowered saddle height and reduced saddle slant on the stock saddles, and causes the strings to stop migrating also. 11-49s intonate better with stock saddles, I am not clear as to why.

Put on a six saddle, its much better, no spacing problems, and the intonation is much superior. Even Fender admit that.
The 3 saddle is only for old times sake, and most guitarists in the know will tell you the six saddle makes a big difference.

I did that before, but I just couldn't get used to how it looked. Just not right and authentic. Maybe I've get replacement saddles with groves - or cheaper yet, make my own grooves with a knife!
