Tele Wiring Options
Hello,
I have a couple of basic wiring things I would like to be able to customize on one or more of my teles, and I was wondering whether anyone knows of some common wiring guides, customization guides, etc., or even just how to do what I am interested in (I am pretty handly with soldering/wiring etc.). I want to be able to take a stock tele toggle switch, pots, and pickups and do the following: 1) With the toggle in the bridge position, have the tone pot act as a volume blend for the neck pickup (rather than as a tone adjuster for the bridge pickup). 2) With an additional toggle switch (or similar) , allow to switch the bridge pickup so that it is out of phase. Any responses are greatly appreciated. Thanks! |

This has been helpful to me... I don't know whether it'll help you or not.

thanks for this link. I actually have single coils for the most part (it looks like this site focuses on humbucker wiring, but I could be wrong. I really appreciate this nonetheless and how to get more suggestions from others!

Well I'm not going to try and find that specific wiring, but this may help.

(2) should be fairly straightforward with an On-on-on DPDT switch.
