Just finished a La Cabronita

Just finished this La Cab this past weekend. Gave it a test drive Saturday night. Man I love those TV Jones Pickups. Nice throaty tone in the bridge postition. The neck pickup has a nice sparkle while still being fat. The neck on this particular guitar is a Warmoth with a Deep U profile to replicate a 52 Tele neck.

Cheers,
Danny

Very nice! is the Warmoth neck contour a 1.0 boatneck or a .86 '59 Roundback?

Thanks guys. The Warmoth neck is the 1.0" Boatneck and the pickups are TV Jones Power'tron Plus in the bridge with a Power'tron in the neck. They sound great, nice tone. I have used the Gretsch HS Filtertrons before and they are lower output, high sensitivity pickups. I liked them but really love the growl of these TV Jones IMHO.

fantastic build!!

I have a Powertron in my Cabro build aswell. but if I would build another one I would def. go for Supertrons. installed a set in a guitar a while ago: bit less agressive, more twang though. i guess it depends on what music you like/play

yours looks Killer

Beautiful build Danny! What type of circuitry did you place inside it? Greasebucket or the S1?
