I like.

Please explain the coiled wire in the control cavity. And what is the "Fezz Parka" mod?

I dig the red pots. Did you mask the soldering contact points before painting, or scrape paint off after?

The wires around the huge Soviet pio connect the tone to the vol, the yellow is ground.

I found the Fezz Parka's mod (some say 50's mod) on tdpri. Use the search, please, there are many threads touching the theme.

The pots were hand painted, 3 coats, the shaft, the contact legs and the back of the pots were not painted only the parts visible thru the plate.

Here's this little mod they call the Fezz Parka's mod. Very simple, but it really makes tone control more 'live', and it gives more treble with lower volume.
