Capri Orange Vs Candy Tangerine
Hi
I have been thinking on building a guitar for a while now, and have seen many good posts here. And I'm new here so if I'm in the wrong place let me know. Anyway... The finish that I have decided on is either 'Capri Orange' or 'Candy Tangerine', and i can't decide which to go with. Please can you show me some of your own. Help appreciated, Andrew |

When you say capri orange are you refering to fenders capri orange? and by candy tangerine are you refering to House of kolor's candy tangerine? If so i belive the capri orange is a solid color and the candy will be translucent. If so I think it would depend on how nice the grain looks. If you like the grain go candy if not go solid. Both would look good with a white/pearl pick gaurd imho. Make sure you post pick when you get there!

@Death trap
Yeah I mean the Fender colours, and by candy tangerine/kandy tangerine (however you prefer) it traditionally has a metallic basecoat, so the grain is not visible. I've done my research but am stuck between Capri and Tangerine. Also if you post refinished candy tangerine, could you put what type of base coats you used, as I have heard it makes a big difference.
