Hi there
I cant decide wether to use gold or chrome tuners and bridge on my 69 thinline
top is curly maple,pickguard is tortoise shell and neck is clapton v profile with rosewood fretboard
some people say gold will tarnish quicker than chrome
I thought the gold will come up nice against the curley maple and tortoise shell

If the finish has allot of amber, orange, redish tones in it. I would go with the gold.
