My TeleGib Build. Check it out!
I started designing and building this guitar more then two years ago but the build got put on hold to build a few T-style guitars. The idea was to do a Fender/Gibson hybrid, influenced by the Telecaster and the SG. As you can see it turned out more Gibsonish. Let me know your thoughts, I need some feedback...

Very unique without being overboard! I like it very much and could see myself playing it on stage.

I like it a lot. I like the satin finish - they always feel so much better to play. Classic looks but still very original!

I agree with Bri-Sonic about the Wilshire look, it's also looks like a 335 style as well, I dig the creativity.

I agree with collectiveoasis about the 335 vibe - what with those 'mickey mouse' ears and the headstock shape, and the carve top!
I think it's crying out for a big brother semi acoustic - deeper body and f holes. Good job! |

Wilshire for sure, and maybe a little influence by Mosrite too!
Great looking axe, any plans to build more?

I'm planning on building more...once you start, you can't stop. I've been working on a new model and now I have the body design finished along with some specifications, hopefully I can get started in a few months. Last edited by mowcheeba; February 1st, 2012 at 05:05 PM. |
