I've not thought of the quantitative details much, but you'd probably have to shim the neck to be able to get low enough action for most wrap arounds.

If you didn't want to shim the neck or angle the neck pocket then you can try recessing the wraparound bridge to get the action correct. I'm sure I saw a Tele build on here about a year ago which was done this way.

I used a wraparound on my 2011 Challenge build but it has an angled set neck.

But as others have said, you will need to either add angle to the neck or recess the bridge. A wraparound will be too tall for a standard Tele setup.

You certainly can. I have a Wilkinson wraparound with string ferules on top of body. Modelled on Rick Parfitt's 60s tele.

I had to adjust the neck position for the action.
