Custom guitar base question

So I'm building my very first modified guitar and I want a tele base. And unfortunately, I don't have a ton of cash to throw around. I was thinking I'd start with either a Jay Turser or one of the Rondo Music SX teles. Does anyone have any experience with the Rondos? I have a Turser strat that's become one of my favorite guitars but the starting price on those is a bit more. The Rondos are so cheap that it makes them hard to pass up. But will a Fender neck fit on one? The pickups and guard seems to be the same, but having the option of changing the neck is a big thing for me. Any help would be greatly appreciated!

I can't say whether the Tursers are standard dimensions as far as neck pocket and all, but a music shop in my hometown started carrying Turser stuff and I have to say I was impressed by it, especially the big hollowbodies.

Never encountered a Rondo instrument in the wild before.
