vintage style bridge w/six saddles

Hello, I'm new to this forum and hoping to get a few answers for a partscaster I want to build. Did it before but made costly mistakes (mainly the neck route was bad messing up bridge etc...) Anyways questions:
1. What color stain is used to get the "butterscotch" color?
2. I want to use an ashtray cover on the bridge (I know the drawbacks, but a least for looks) and can't find specs on sizes of the ashtray. Will the ashtray fit on the vintage style bridges that have six saddles? (I looked on a UK site that had the specs for that bridge and they are the same as a six saddle, but other sites specs don't seem to be the same.)
Any help will be greatly appreciated.

The ashtray cover should fit on any vintage style bridge that has the full side lips. The cover is stamped from sheet metal. If it's loose, you just bend it a little.
