Saga kit quality?
Hi all! New poster here. I found a thread here stating that the quality if the Saga Tele kits has gone way down hill. That holes didn't line up, bodies were dinged, and that the necks no longer had truss rods! I don't remember the posters name but it was posted in 2005. I've built a few Saga kits in the past and found them to be fine.
In the 6 or so years since this was posted, has the kit quality improved any? |

Old news my friend. Here is a much more recent thread LINK. Also, realize there are many more kits out there besides Saga. Guitar Fetish and Grizzly are just a couple. If you still have your heart set on a Saga kit, here is one at a very reasonable price LINK. Oh and read the features, they do have an adjustable truss rod

Thanks for the reply. Like I said, it's been years. I'll check those links. The last Saga tele I built (maybe 25 years ago) had the maple fingerboard, which seems to be absent these days (only rosewood as far as I can see). Is anyone making a kit with an all maple neck?
