Colt, you're required to find a wood shop near Angelo and continue producing guitars. We can't allow the ruminants to monopolize you.

Enjoy grad school; I know I did!

I grew up listening to the headhunters, and they were always one of my favorite bands. I still remember my first Ski!
I didn't know about Black Stone Cherries, until Richard told me about his son's band. He gave me a CD, and I got to play with some of their gear. I played Richard's '52 tele through the BSC's big Peavy Amps the president of Peavy gave them, its a prototype.

Heck of a difference in geology between West Virginia and west Texas. I reckon from San Angelo you can literally see the "Friday Night Lights" of Odessa, the land is so flat.

Good Luck in grad school.
There is definetly a lot more sky out here, and the sun comes up a lot earlier in the morning.

That's a great couple of guitars Colt, and interesting stories.

While in San Angelo be sure to drive up to Lowake and have a great steak. I once drove all the way from Del Rio because I'd heard such good reviews. Wasn't disappointed (except all the locals seem to be left handed, which is a bit weird).

Gorgeous guitars.. Honestly. My friend was also born 2 days after me.
I hope your craftsmanship doesn't falter once you start building guitars again after grad school.

Another project that meant a lot to me was the present I made for my lovely girl friend Ashley

Its a Roll Top Aromatic Cedar/Black Walnut Chest
Back-
Top-
Inside-
Front-
Side-

Don't ask where I got the templates for the tray cavities. 10 bonus points to whomever can guess!

100 bonus points to whomever can identify the correct radius of the top!

100 bo

The tray routs look like tele control cavities and humbucker or p90s.

I'm guessing 12" radius on the top. It would help if we knew what the overall dimensions of the box are.

They are Control Cavity and Humbucker Pickguard routes

It is not a 12" radius.
