it beguin to look good

fretboard radius
neck finish 43 mm nuts 56 mm at the heel

my router eat my template then i have **** the transition to the head

a new neck not completely finish with a ding

i gonna take the iron stream mapple works good

yes some progress but pics are bloqued in my phone
i made the guard and few routing in body
next time fretting and carving the neck tuners hole and on the body drill the ferrulle hole , the armrest and tommy cut and after finition







what become when you don't have the time to make template

but it will be paint then with craps and glue it become invisible

at 120 grit but next time i am bored



another piece of wood

fretted,planifiction done and fret rerounded
the beguin of the neck carving only with rasp ,plane and a little sanding to make it nice








will be continued (i lost much time fighting with my electroscket to remplace the tele cup who doesn't work)

thanks, for the colour i think of sherwood green or some metalics finish
but i have serious gas of sparkle and i think it will be too hard to do without a airgun but i really love it
my next built isn't a mustang(and i really love stang ) but another offset
the first part who is the most important part is

it is a custom part made by a friend ,i made recherche to have most of the size and it nearly close as we can but i haven't see a real XII (cause is nearly impossible to have and if you find one bridge complete is more than 300 bucks ever more i don't wanted to part a strato XII or venus XII)

good news ans bad news
i have redo my contour



the neck were i made an big mistake





i have invert the beguin and the end of the heel result i have a big very big acces hight
i must rework this is very bad aera
the pickguard ready for some paint

and the worst ,like i work outside for sanding i am surprised by the rain and when i go inside i have hurt a table

even with iron steam the fiber doesn't want to arise they were cut then i put a litlle piece of wood and next time i will sand it
luckily it will be paint

a flamed wood






everybody dry
primer ,varnish of neck and of the pickguard


the primer made something space
far is good



less far less good the seam reapair and there is some miss?





i can't find at autosupply the colurs i want and i don't do white cause white is tort but no

sanding is best friend of varnish


i think i sand more that i put varnish on
my paint chamber it helps to avoid a garage repaint

need a another can of primer ( but it beguin to look good )




another sanding and another coat
