Fender Telecaster Project finished and Tonerider review

Fender Telecaster Project finished and Tonerider review

Hey I got it completed this is the final assesment MIM body WD music ebony fretboard, Tonerider hot classics, tusq nut, wilkinson compensated bridge brass saddles, wilkinson easylock tuners US neckplate, US controll plate, CTS pots CRL switch, US Jack, 1952 single ply P.G. Fender decals. So enough with the formalities. The plays and sounds Super!!

The Tonerider Hot Classics are excellent the tone is pure classic Fender Telecaster and this even sounds to me like the old Broadcaster. I did not do a treble bleed. These pickups have that pure Tele twang are very clean but when attacked they grind right up. The neck pup is mellow but mean and the bridge is well mean clean ringing and sweet but down and gritty when pushed with overdrive. I might add the WD Music Neck is flawless and the ebony fretboard is smooth as silk. I would recomend the Tonerider Hot Classics to anyone looking to upgrade

Totals
Body 60.00
WD Neck 200.00
US Neck plate 12.00
Bridge 38.00
Tuners 34.00
P.G. 12.00
Toneriders 100.00
Nut 9.00
Decals 15.00
Controll plate 9.00
Knobs 10.00
Strap locks 6.00
Paint 20.00
Labor PRICELESS
Total 525.00 and worth every penny

Beautiful tele! What paint did you use? I'm getting ready to start another tele build for my cousin, and thats about the color she wants. Also was there much fret work needed?
