Just finished - "La Ovejita Negra"

A few minor tweaks to pickup height, a personalized decal for the headstock, but basically it's playable, just finished the wiring - behold LA OVEJITA NEGRA:

Alder body with a very thin coat of spray-can paint (Duplicolor Platinum - I think that's acrylic based) - you an still see/feel the wood grain; Mighty Mite neck (will be replaced with a Warmoth neck once I've got some extra spending money, the Mighty Mite is a bit too fat for my taste, and I love those 1-3/4" nut width, stainless steel fretted Warmoth Pro necks I have on my other Teles...); Wilkinson cut-off Tele bridge, no-name Bigsby B5-clone, Gretsch Filtertron HS pickups.

Thanks, guys! Tuuur, that 's an old neck that I have lying around for testing various guitar builds - this one has been on at least 4 different bodies...

It's diminutive for "oveja" which means "sheep", thus "The Little Black Sheep".

cheers!

Unfortunately it's also slang for... um... "lady of the evening."

Furnishing a complete translation is better left as an exercise for the reader.

Thanks, again, everyone!

Yeah, the name was a bit of a word play on the Cabronita (bad-ass girl, but derived from cabra = goat...)
