How to put humbucker in neck?

Having never installed a humbucker in anything, I'm not sure where to start. I acquired a standard Gibson 490R humbucker, but no rings or other hardware. What's the right way to do it if you're using a standard Tele pickguard with a humbucker cutout in the neck position? I have a routing template, so that much I understand. But how does height adjustment happen?

There are two long height adjustment screws & springs on the humbucker pickup, so it's mounted and adjusted on the pickguard like a Strat.

The pickup has threaded mounting holes on each side. Insert the screws through the face of the pickguard. Put a spring on each screw on the underside of the pickguard. Screw the screws into the pickup mounting holes (on the ears). The pickup will be attached to the pickguard.

Mount the pickguard to the guitar. The two screws on either side of the pickup are used to adjust the height.
