Esquire Wiring?

Hi All:

I'm currently building my first Tele and am considering building it as an Esquire. I know that only one pickup is used in an Esquire, but where can I find wiring examples? All the pics I see of Esquires shows a pickup selector switch, but what is that used for when you have only one pickup?

thanks,

The switch is still used in standard esquires: http://www.seymourduncan.com/support...ematic=esquire

Some folk prefer no selector (they wire the pup straight to the volume pot i think)

I did one wired directly to the jack . No pots or switch . Love it . I learned this from others on this site . You can always add things , if you like .
