New Telecaster build, what parts would you add??

Hi, just thought I'd post photo's of my brothers new guitar neck and body for his new Telecaster build. I think he's trying to deside what parts to use, so I thought I'd open it up to the Forum for suggestions.

I love that neck... FWIW I have a Seymour Hotrails in bridge on my parts tele, if he does hard rock it's just awesome.

Cheers mondo, he is a Les Paul man so I got him a telecaster to expand his guitar collection. The pickup sounds like the sound he wants.

Callaham vintage T hardware set and a set of Fender Nocasters...
... or maybe a set of OC Duff (Redd Volkaert set) pickups.

Schaller locking tuners and an all parts or a licenced fender neck. And pickups depend on style of playing!

You didn't mention anything about a budget, so I'm going to guess that's not an issue. If it were mine (I wish, that's some great looking wood!), here's what I would get:

Glendale CRS bridge plate. Beautifully made. with or without the cut-down sides:
http://www.glendaleguitars.com/bridgeCR.htm

Glendale brass Cutting Edge compensated saddles. Excellent intonation and impeccable workmanship; like jewelry for your guitar: http://www.glendaleguitars.com/saddles.htm

Don Mare pickups. This guy is simply the best at what he does. If you decide to order these, call him up and talk about how you want your guitar to sound. Check out the web site first: http://www.donmarepickups.com/

Control plate: I'll have one of these on my next build. The angled switch is a great idea: http://www.taipantone.com/pages/control%20plate.html Knobs to match: http://www.taipantone.com/pages/Ultimate%20Knobs.html

Jack and socket: Electrosocket socket and switchcraft jack. If you buy them both from Bill Callaham, the threads will match. If you shop around (you won't save much), you might end up with incompatible threads. Web site here: http://www.callahamguitars.com/partstel.htm

All of Bill Callaham's offerings are very high quality. I prefer the sound of the Glendale bridge hardware, more vintage style, but many love the Callaham bridges. If you search here on TDPRI, you will find a lot of threads discussing the merits.
