I want to build something different!
Well, since my Pine Esquire turned out so nice, I want to build another guitar.
I used my CV Tele as a template for my first build, but now I want to venture into new territory. So is there anyone out there that has a some type of scale online template for perhaps an offset style body that I can gain access to without having to shell out a bunch of $. I make diddley for money at my job (I work for a non-profit company), that's why I am building guitars instead of buying them. I have $147.00 invested into my Esquire, I think that's pretty cheap considering the guitar plays awesome, and when my Fender '52 RI yielding friend says "It's got alot of Mojo" I feel like I really achieved something special. I would like to do an offset, utilizing telecaster components to keep things simple. I just had another slab of pine planed and cut into chunks at my friends shop, so I'm ready to begin as soon as I can find something. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Start there, it has some links to guitar plans. Both acoustic as electric. And use the "search" here. There are many plans posted on tdpri, full sized pdf's. |
