Glendale Chimemaster

Hi Guys,

I've searched and read all the posts I can find on the Glendale Chimemaster bridge. I'm curious to hear from those who have installed one, what kind of routing do you need to do? Are you happy with the way yours sounds? Does it stay in tune?

In my mind, I'm seeing a transparent white/blonde tele with double black binding, black guard, a chimemaster with a tele bridge and a TV Jones classic neck.

Cheers,
Motor

I know Arlo West did use one in one of his builds.

I used a string block in my LesQuire Jr. I love the chime it added to the whole stew of parts I used. I could almost say the sustain is piano like.

I was going to go for the Chimemaster but I am saving that for another build.

I believe its a string through design so you would be routing the back of the guitar. But I'm not positive.

Call Dale he would be glad to give you the details.

You need to route exactly the same as you would for a vintage style Strat tremolo bridge.

+1

My Chimemasters are installed on guitars with stock Strat trem rout dimensions.

One thing I found was it gave me an intermediate string array at the bridge, and this is IMO especially desirable on a Strat because the full vintage Strat array is awful wide but the "modern" is very narrow. The Chimemaster tends to set up in a middle ground area.

Fantastic, thanks guys!

My first (and only) partscaster has the classic country tele sound covered. This would be for a rockin tele.
