texas special wiring problem

Just built my second Tele, went with the Texas Specials, followed the diagram that came with, here's the problem; they are real, real, real, real, quiet, I can only hear them if I crank the amp, no humming or anything, but, I can barely hear them, any thoughts?

Are you using a 3-way or 4-way Switch ?

Wired switch backwards?

Make sure all connections got soldered. I recently finished wiring then had no tone control only to discover that the wire I thought I soldered was not.

Are all of the controls new or only the pickups new in the circuit?

Your diagram appears to be for a 4-way...that's why I asked...try this one
