Where do you get your pickup building supplies?

Where (other than eBay) can one find pole
pieces and bobbins and wire and etc? I have considered getting into this, and have seen stew mac's kits, but I thought that the raw materials might be cheaper.

Check out www.guitarpartsusa.com. Don't know much about them, but they have supplies and prices seem good.
