Looks nice. I have been looking for a HH type guitar and finally found a Stellar LP copy on eBay. I'd have watched yours until it got too expensive, if it were listed. I think I'd rather have Vol and Tone for each p'up (4 knobs) if I were doing it.

That's sweet! Like the headstock decal.

Give us some details. Where did you get the body and neck?

The decal was designed by myself and a friend.

I made the body form a single piece of Honduras Mahogany. I have a piece left over that I will make a Tele body from. The neck is a Mighty Mite that I found locally.

The plank had some hairline cracks on the butt end that I didn't see until after I began making the LP body. I don't think you can see them in the pics I posted but they're fairly obvious in person. I filled them as best I could but the stain highlights them. Live and learn.

The thing I'm probably most pleased with (which was also probably the most work) is the neck pocket. It's a perfect fit. There is absolutely no gap between the heel and the pocket. I got lucky I think.

Those are Grover tuners on it. They seem to be well made and I've had no tuning issues so far. I really like the old school Kluson look.

I made all my own templates which is a hell of alot of work, for me at least. I think the next build I won't be quite so creative and I'll just buy some Tele templates instead.

I never use the middle positon (both p/u's on) so that's why I just put a single vol and tone on it. I also used a 2 way switch. I've actually begun converting all my 2 pickup guitars to 2 way switches for the same reason.

Makes sense. I like the middle position on my HH and SS guitars.

I'm keeping it. I guess if the right amount of money was offered I would consider selling it.

That is a beautiful guitar. I'm planning a similar build next year. Looks great!

I'm happy with the decal. Most of it's design was created by a good friend of mine.
