SQ 51 Lefty

A member of this forum (Elrond) asked me if I could buil him a guitar, of course so we met saturday and talked bout the specs.
It will be a alder, lefthanded, squier51 with a full maple neck.
So here we go!!
Glued a two piece alder bodyblank:

Cut out the neck:

Planed it flat

So start all over this time I sanded it withe the robosander and used a smaller template bit and it went smooth.

Cut out the body and thicknessplaned it with the safe-t planer (money well spend!):

Where is the diwidi carpet-tape-losing-agent when you need it??

Lets call it a day:

I'm speechless, honored, and pleased. It's a great start, oigun!

It was a pleasure meeting on saturday, and I would definitely recommend any Dutch folk who are in the market for a custom guitar to (at least) have a chat with oigun about the possibilities. :)

*Woof Woof!*

I ftree=tted the neck and the shaping is almost done:

I taped the fretboard because maple is getting dirty fairly quick. I level and crown the frets when the laquer is on the neck.

There is just a little work to do on the transitions.

Oh yeah, he did allright... Fully blackfaced '68 Super reverb with alnice CTS 10" drivers, with PPIMV, defeat of normal and vibrato for extra punch (more volts in the circuit) and then some CMW magic added in the mix...

Chris actually had the amp and guitar for over a week to finetune together...

With a tele---> instant Bakersfield
With a strat---> instant SRV

Due to various shaping and voicing options...
Love this amp
