not sure on the exact specs but he wound the bridge pickup with a tap from standard tele specs to more punch. the neck pup was wound to sound smooth and clear, also rw/rp to stop the hum.
great pickups. |

the wood is from central New Brunswick, Canada. Here Birdseye maple is illegal to cut and sell unless it is on your own ground. But we can get permits to cut on government ground for firewood. so lots of good Birdseye ends up firewood.

Nice looking guitar. Really nice!
I just bought a set of pickups from Jon Moore. They're going in a baritone guitar that I'm about to start. Tele bridge and P90 neck. I can't wait to hear them.

If that guitar sounds half as good as it looks, you are in tone heaven! Congratulations on a super job!
Jon makes dynamite PU's at a very reasonable price. I have a set of his P-90's in my GTLP. they sound fantastic. |

because people were cutting it on government land and selling it.. they sold for 1000 to 3000+ dollars for a log. its ok to cut it on your own land and sell it. Around here people apply for a permit to cut firewood on the government land, this permit to cut is only for firewood. some people would apply for a permit to cut firewood and sell the Birdseye and make lots of easy money from gov wood.
