Pics of 2 finished and 1 on the way......

The strat, and the in progress tele are the peruvian cedar from the plank I bought. The butterscotch blond is USACG neck and body.
Man this is fun. I say finished, but, there's still some tweeking, decals, setup, and I was short a couple of pg screws.
I'm hand rubbing the cedar tele with tung oil with some amber dye from stew mac, started as an experiment on some scrap, I like it so much, it's going on the tele. This is after the second coat, got more to go with clear now. Just waiting on hardware from Taipan Tone to finish it out.
Whatchall think? (other than the poor photo skills) ;)

Oh, I'm gonna put a chrome cover on the "Jolie Blon" tele. I know the finish isn't perfect, but I think the flaws are actually nice. :)
Also, the strat sounds, and plays incredable. I've never in my life held, and played one better. I now know what all the fuss is about!
The tele is ok, I don't have the correct wiring, pots, or caps yet. Got em ordered. It plays pretty good, but I have done no set up on it, waiting on the rest of the stuff first.
The pu's in the strat are Rio Grandes, SSH, the tele pu's are a Klein P90 in the bridge, and a VooDoo HB in the neck. Wired directly to the jack, they both deliver! Lots of range.
Anyway, I'll try to get some sunlight pics when I'm home during the daylight.
All criticism is welcome, and appreciated.

Thanks guys, going to set up the tele tonight. Work on the wiring. It has a 250k pot on the volume, with the HB in there I think I need a 500K. Going to try different wiring etc.
Man, I'm loving it. HOOKED for SURE!!!

... and if you keep on tweaking, it keeps you busy for months after you built them!
Congrats from another hooked one!

Well, I didn't get to the tele yet. Had to go to work, man, having a job sure does cut into leisure time don't it?!!??!?
Will the cover affect the sound of the HB? I don't really like the look with the bare pu in the neck, especially the cream plastic.
Also, I'm going to try to get more of that Peruvian cedar, I may want to get rid of some blanks. Any interest?
