Custom Shop Level Tele

Hey all,

This is my first post, so please be kind. Wondering if y'all could point me in the right direction for cusotm shop level Telecaster bodies and necks.

I am leaning towards an allparts neck and Warmoth body, but would like your input.

I'd like to route the neck for a mini hum. I'm kicking around the idea of of having a mini hum in the neck, a middle pup and bridge, but most likely gonna going for the mini hum and bridge.

Any suggestions appreciated.

While Allparts/Warmoth parts might get you to the CS level it is more
certain to be Fender USA quality level.
You have more chances to get the quality you are looking for by ordering
your parts from USACG.

But, let's don't forget what we're talking about here.

The raw bodies and necks are building blocks; a Fender Custom Shop guitar (or any one of a number of very fine custom builders here) is the culmination of a heck of a lot of fine work done to the raw products. Start with the wrong materials and you got problems, but the materials themselves and the final product are 2 different things. I keep getting "reminders" right here as I finish and assemble guitars, every day.

Thanks for your responses. I will be giving them a call tomorrow. I am thinking about getting one of those tele bodies routed for a mini hum in the neck with a "gut cut", and pairing it with a AAA birds eye maple neck with a rosewood fretboard.

You can have the finest raw materials available(USACG), but if you don't have the fit and finishing skills, there is no way to even come close to a custom shop level guitar. While you can make a good guitar, Top Notch guitar building isn't learned on the fly. Big learning curve.
