With A Little Help From My Friends

Cut three bodies today . Would like to share . Have web cam , but lack knowledge to post photos . Could I e-mail photos to someone else and have them posted . Bodies are old Cherry from a barn loft . " Loftcaster " anyone . Hoping to build with one pre-made neck , one all Cherry and one with quartersawn Walnut under Madagascar Rosewood . I'll add some naptha to help show the grain and color on the bodies . They weigh 6lb 2oz. , 6lb 4oz and 6lb 6oz respectively before routing . All three will be lefties .

Go to http://www.photobucket.com and create an account. Upload your photos there and then click on the and put in the "direct link" that is displayed under your newly uploaded photos.

In effect, you'll be getting photobucket to "host" your photos and you'll be providing a link from TDPRI to photobucket asking this forum to find your photos, pull them over, and display them here.

Try all this in the "Testing Please Ignore" part of the forum down at the bottom of the forum page.

I look forward to seeing your lefties!

Nick's method will work. There's an even easier way ...... or at least I think it's easier. Still using PhotoBucket, copy the IMG line below your thumbnail. Paste that into you post ........... into the typing area. That's all there is to it.

Thanks for the input . I will try . The sad fact is that you guys are using terminology that I simply do not understand yet . I intend to continue to try learning .

You can also upload your photos right here to the TDPRI Gallery. Then use it the same way you would Photobucket or other hosting services.

I managed to accomplish the task by using web cam ( IMac ) and placing photos in the Gallery area . It still isn't the way I want to do this , but it will have to do for now . I also placed one test photo of my Rosewood . I apologize for the technical difficulties on my end . I hope you enjoy . The inlay at the twelfth fret is two Airedale heads in Abalone . I will give her up after my cold , dead fingers are pried away from my guns .

If you're using the TDPRI gallery, click on the thumbnail to open the picture, then copy the BBCode line below the picture and paste that into the typing area ............ like this.
