Buying a pine body…

What's the difference between Pine-Mart and Brian Poe bodies? Are the prices comparable?

you should inquire directly to them. They are both amazing... I'm finishing a marty body right now and I think he is a FINE human being... this body is, well, gorgeous....

Brian's work is off the chart too... we are very lucky!

Being fortunate is a bad thing, in this case.

email them... they are both super responsive... but, since we have strict rules about buying and selling on the TDPRI it is problematic (it gets them in trouble) for folks to quote prices on the board.

You won't make a mistake... either will be a great choice... and guitarmill is great too as are others...

If I get a sugar-pine body, how do I compensate for the neck weight?

A pound of thick, thick poly. Kills two birds because then it won't ding if you look at it funny.

Have Brian or Bill or Evans put a bender in it.

I love when people bring me problems I can solve!

Counterweight in the body in the form of guitar mechanisms or hidden counterweights such as lead.
