Thanks again for all the comments
This has been a weekend to remember.
From the presentation of the gift,to having my cousin here which I built the Barneycaster for, which I should add I have not seen for 9 years,it could not have been any better.
You know, seeing the look on a persons face when they see their guitar for the first time is one of the best parts of building

I am a little reluctant to post this but what the hell
I was a tad nervous at this point,as you can tell by my playing. There was no time to set the amp for the guitar because I just threw it on for the one song before I give it to him.Just thought I better show you guys it actually worked. She definitely has some twang!!!

Fantastic Marty!
Guitar twangs beautifully, and Mr. Tucker appears to be suitably moved by your gift.

It's a rare thing when you can build something knowing who the final owner will be. I expect you spent a great deal of time thinking about him while you were working on the guitar. In that way the thought really is more important than the gift.

If this is any indication of the community spirit, I'm thinking
of moving there with my family.
You are a superior craftsman and an even better neighbour.
Outstanding!

Marty...thanks for sharing this emotional trip with us.

Your incredible craftsmanship is second only to your generosity and kindness.

You gave that family something they will never forget.

You are truly a person I would be proud to call a friend.

If not the best thread, one of the best for sure! Had tears in my eyes it did.

Marty, thank you for letting us look over your shoulder on this one bro. A special guitar, for a special man, built by one heck of a guy with one big heart.
